Practical Tips

Tip icon Detailed installation tips

Door opening inward.
Install the screen on the outer frame to avoid rubbing and ensure insect protection. If there’s enough clearance, you may also mount it on the inside, provided the door doesn’t touch the mesh.

Door opening outward.
Mount the screen on the inner frame so the door can open freely without moving the mesh.

Sliding door.
Attach the screen to the outside of the fixed frame to keep the rail clear and maintain proper tension.

Door with brick wall.
If the frame is unsuitable, attach the hook-and-loop strips directly to the brick wall. Clean the surface first; on uneven walls, reinforcing tape may help.

Excess length.
Do not cut the screen. Fold the bottom neatly inward and, for a lasting finish, have it sewn by a tailor.
